I have seen many “Apartment” buildings in Downtown L.A. trying to pass themselves off as “Lofts” recently. Cookie cutter units with 8 foot ceilings and no imagination and indeed no actual “Loft” in the place at all. Wikipedia defines a “Loft” the following way:
“Loft apartments are apartments that are generally built from former industrial buildings. [...]
